Early Childhood Intervention - under 9 years old

It starts with connection
Every child’s journey with us starts with finding that moment of connection: a shared smile, a laugh, or simply feeling comfortable together. When a child is connected with an adult, they’re engaged, settled and ready to learn. These are the foundations for everything that follows.

Once that trust is built, Britt shapes each session around your child’s interests, strengths and goals. Sessions are play-based and interest-led, with learning woven naturally into play that it just feels like fun. Every small success builds your child’s confidence, self-esteem and belief in themselves, so they can take part more fully at home, at preschool or school, and in the community.

The early years are a powerful time for learning. Young children learn best through play, with people they trust, in the places they spend their days. By working where your child lives or learns, we help new skills stick, and help the adults around them keep that learning going between sessions. We focus on motivation that comes from within, so children enjoy learning rather than relying on rewards.

We complement therapy, not replace it. We work alongside your child’s team to help them practise and use their skills in everyday life.

How we support your child

  • Working with your child’s team. We carry goals from associated therapists (such as OT, psychologist, speech pathologist, physiotherapist) and NDIS plan into everyday play and routines, built around what your child loves.

  • Supporting families. We show you simple ways to fit your therapists’ strategies into daily life, in ways your child enjoys.

  • Independence. Everyday skills like following instructions, routines, self-care and organising belongings.

  • Support at preschool or school. With the school’s agreement, we support your child in the setting and give educators context and practical strategies, including what your child’s behaviour may be communicating.

  • Regulation and movement. Movement, coordination and sensory activities that help your child feel calm, focused and ready to take part, guided by OT or physio advice where relevant.
